McGouns Track
This is a very family friendly track, it ties into a nice loop with the bottom of the Pineapple Track. It passes though some of the nicest bush in the Dunedin area, with tree ferns and little streams. My only advice would be to not go if it's really windy! Pine cones like to fly out of the tree's as you get to the start of the track.
Directions
For this, you want to park at the little parking lot at the corner of Fulton Road, Booth Road and Wakari Road. Then instead of walking up the hill, take the little service road down through the pine trees. Follow that along until you reach the right hand turn into McGouns Track. Enjoy :)
