Purakaunui Falls and Reserve

Yes, the most photographed waterfall in New Zealand. Yes, it has been the cover of many books. Yes, it has been on a New Zealand stamp in 1976. If you have a camera, a tripod and you happen to be in the Catlins, you are most likely heading here. Because these falls are very pretty. 3 tiers of falling water surrounded by beautiful New Zealand native forest. And why not bring the whole family, it is after all, easy access. But beware, this is one of those tourist spots.
